The blue helmet above (Axe, I think his name is?) and all the Death Watch helmets are cast from the Sideshow ROTJ Lifesize bust helmet. Legacy made the prototype for Sideshow so they had molds. The tiny turn signals, size, and overall shape are dead give aways.

As for the new Boba (or Vanth) helmet, it’s a little weirder. The Hero helmet doesn’t appear to be the Sideshow helmet to my eye. If it is? It was modified a good bit. I think Legacy could have either used it as a base or have been supplied a different helmet and they did a digital scan and re-render to tweak it.

The stunt helmet, also seen in the net in chapter 10, looks to be the Sideshow helmet. Look at the smaller turn signals and overall shape.

Keep in mind the Black Series came out in May this year. They were filming over a year ago, and in production months before that. The Stormtrooper helmets would make sense to me, but it is very unlikely you’ll ever see a Black Series Boba in this show.

Great find!

The hero is very small. Is the sideshowbust also undersized?

Really nice high res photo from the cover of the upcoming "The Mandalorian: The Ultimate Visual Guide":

Anyone see the new cardboard standees for Mando Season 2? Looks like Cara Dune is sporting a new logo...not quite like any existing "New Republic" logo..the neck is rather thin, like the old galactic republic logo...and the head of the crest seems slightly different that the standard Rebel logo....

I'd be interested in someone making a metal version of the badge.

Not sure if anyone has seen this, but there are officially licensed space cookies.

Yep, the Sideshow helmet is a good bit smaller than a standard Boba. I am not sure that it is as small as the Vanth hero, however. I’d need to have them both in my hands.
Ah ok really interesting...the Vanth hero is really small. It could be also made special for Temuera Morrisons size.

$50 for 12 cookies?! I think not.

Welcome to Williams-Sonoma. My wife and I like to play a game in that store, "How Much IS This?" Where you pick up a random small object and try to guess what they charge for it, and then laugh at how far off base you were. $18 for a spatula! $50 for an Apple pie!

I have had mine for a couple months now and I keep taking goofy pictures of him. Then my wife got one a few weeks ago because she was feeling left out.

Sideshow and Hot Toys have they're life-size version at about 14", so this one is only slightly off. I've been watching clips on Gallery and sometimes he looks smaller than 14". It's really hard to tell though.

Here's are a few of my goofy pictures...

That's the one. I have bought 6 of these so far.
  • Two for me (one that's always decked out and the other is normal)
  • One for my wife (also decked out)
  • One for my daughter-in-law
  • One for my daughter, who's a firefighter that was fighting the CA fires, so we did him up in firefighter clothing.
  • One for my 3 year old niece, who apparently loves watching the Mandalorian.

it never can't be to much "the child" ;)

but since my room is full of other thinks that make me happy (classic star wars, tmnt or mcu marvel) i have to limit myself in therms of the child...but i collect all of the "bounty collection".

i will gettin the mattel one for photos, do u know if someone customize it to make it more poseable?

i'm thought how nice to move the head a little, to make him look up.

Does anyone know of the grav charge being offered in metal? I can’t seem to find any source who has offered non-resin ones.

Nigel Chua was offering for a while but hasn't restocked since the last run sold out, since the originals are resin there isn't a tonne of demand (is why We didn't make them with our metal run as we wanted to make screen accurate)

Sooooo... we’re you know who’s you know what’s built by production or were those fan builds? Looked an awful lot like the ones khal1993 once sold.

Got my fieldmarshal IB-94. This thing is a real beaut.

I opted for the finished model as I don’t have anodizing capabilities at home.

It is fairly light, but solid. The grips probably need to be refinished. Sanded and restained for a shinier look. There are a couple components that aren’t 100%, but it’s currently the best metal replica. There are really only a handful of small details I would change.
