The mythosaur pendant lanyard included with the Sideshow/Hot Toys quarter scale child appears to have a ring (or some other shape) attached to the knot area. They usually have decent reference and do not deliberately include arbitrary details. Do reference photos of the screen-used lanyard knot exist?

I’ve owned two Fossil wallets and a Fossil watch, which come in little metal boxes about that size. Maybe look into that?

The Hasbro Black Series The Mandalorian helmet goes up for sale today at 4pm EST.

The Black Series helmets aren't perfect, but for the price they're pretty damn amazing and they keep getting better. I look forward to seeing how the finish on this one comes out.

IMO, the best thing they could do for a mass market finish would be vac metal covered with a smoked clear to darken it down. We'll probably get some nice but ultimately toyetic silver paint, though. There's no way the finish will be as nice as these obviously photoshopped pics.

Kind of my feelings as well.

It can always be repainted though.

Anyone have ideas about Vanth’s rifle? I’m leaning toward an AK or Saiga receiver.

Looks like a stamped receiver with a railed dust cover. Plenty of airsoft versions kicking around! You could probably just source the reciever and dust cover individually, since it doesn't look like much else if from an AK
