To be honest: I don't see Supes in him… don't know, I guess I'll have to wait for the costume and wig to tell.

Wig? You think the man needs a wig? That's the last thing this guy needs. He needs to bulk up a tad. I don't want to hear none of this additional secret padding like they did in Returns.
Are there ANY clues as to what the new suit is going to look like? There has been some buzz regarding the new visual direction DC is taking with the design of their heroes - one thing may be a guarantee, we may see a supes without the now-dated outside briefs.

I get the whole armor thing with Batman, and the look of Batman begins and Dark Knight makes a lot of sense. But Superman doesn't need armor. He's invulnerable. It's kinda his thing.

Hated the casting news, but now that I look at him I'm shocked. The curls WORK for Superman and he just has the look. Amazing. Perfect. Superman!

Looks ok I guess. I just wish it didn't look like he was wearing some weird fish scales or something.

I'm not digging the texture of the suit (looks too much like spiderman, or captain america). I mean, it is supposed to be alien fabric, but I don't think they need to make him look like a fish.
I REALLY don't like the emblem. Looks like one of those jean patches we used to press on back in the early 80's

I thought the emblem looked way too thick. The rest of the suit doesn't bother me. As with any Superman, it's really going to fall on the actor.

He does look strong though.
I'm fine with the costume. The small S sheild is what I hated about the Returns costume. And this guy actually looks big enough for the part (bulk wise).
I just don't dig the hair. What happened to the spit curl?? It's cheesy but I feel like it's so iconic.

LIke i said in the other thread. This costume is too texture and distracting. I honestly think the actor makes the suit important. feels like they just want the costume to speak for itself. hate this new trend in super hero movie design.
