Haha Nicky, I actually love the old serials. There's a hardcover book of them sitting on the mantle over my fireplace a few feet away right now, even! I just appreciate the strides the logo has made - it's evolved into a really great design. Iconic. That old one just isn't as good, just as the original plain "S" in a triangle wasn't. I just wish that DC had made them stick to the current logo, since it is so solid and iconic. This looks like a fish on top, from this angle..

I know Snyder likes his films "dark", and he can keep doing that. But I just don't understand why the costume can't be brighter. I think with Snyder's visual style, Superman standing out from the drab, dark environment would look fantastic.

Technically his suit is almost green when you zoom up. The colors look muted across the board. I have a feeling the true color of the suit will be different in other shots.

I about died...:lol Not worried about the costume on him, as it does look like an amalgamation of all of the mentioned and I do agree with the gut and smoking thing. Silly over paid actors. :rolleyes

I'm just going to be too distracted going "Oh hey, it's Russel Crowe" to enjoy the scene. Maybe that'll change when it comes out, but right now seeing this it feels like I'm going to be pulled out of the movie and paying too much attention to who the actor is.
