Please add me to the list if there's room! Is there no chance at all of having the boots printed with grey instead of red? I'm sure it's been covered, but what's the reasoning for bringing everything so close to the film suit but printing those with red?

Thanks bro.... I'll write down your name first.... as for the boots chainmail , I've already finished printed the RED texture on fabric and all the material already in hand and ready to make suits... I've tried printed on Blue chainmail previously, but end up I choose the dark red because I want to keep the thickness and shape of the texture.... if I print it in grey , it will spoil up the main color of the boots. As I noticed that the grey chainmail on the actual movie suit were quite thin..

Any ETA on when you'll start deposits Leslee? My bowling team came in 1st last night so $1200 in my pocket, well, in my hands at the awards dinner next month.

Thanks for the explanation! While I realize that it would dull down the color of the boots quite a bit, is it potentially a customization we could pay extra for? What would it cost to have a pair of boots' worth of the red/grey printed up, if that's even an option?

Wow... congratulations to u and your team bro...

I wish u show u all the finished suit first with all the armor parts on, than I will be ready to take deposit and start working on orders. Hmm... already start to pull out the lower armor parts, so painting all up next... so estimate will have finished suit on next week.

U may or may not.... cause the difficulty I'm facing was the printing process... chainmail was printed in a big factory and usually work for their regular customer and they need big amount of quantities orders to make..... my friend that help me to reserved some work space for me previously and printed all the material that in hand now... so I will have to wait until they have work space for my orders... also the printing cost is ridiculous expensive!

This amazing suit is just begging for it! It's such an interesting muscle suit sculpt too - many hard and exaggerated lines and edges. Very unique. I'm just over 6' feet, so the design of your suit should match up perfectly if I lay out the musculature accurately.

This amazing suit is just begging for it! It's such an interesting muscle suit sculpt too - many hard and exaggerated lines and edges. Very unique. I'm just over 6' feet, so the design of your suit should match up perfectly if I lay out the musculature accurately.

yeah.... hmmm..... did u missed up my post as im working on my muscle mannequin sculpture as well , its a very slow sculpting process as im too busy on many projects in hand ..lol... great and i hope to see your sculpting process as well.... pls keep us posted . By seeing your Ninja Turtle sculpture work ... u will sure work better details than mine ..:thumbsup

Heres some update on the lower body parts that ive just done . Now we have complete armor parts and will start the gluing work and update all with more pics soon . Stay Tuned .

That's actually a really great start! Studying human anatomy may actually throw you off the trail. It's clear that they were more concerned with the aesthetic lines which they could create through the spandex than with sculpting natural anatomy. Looking at the suit, I imagine the muscle padding underneath must look very odd, especially in the abdominal area. Some of those side muscles must be quite exaggerated to show up as they do, and it appears they made made most of the edges quite a bit harder than one normally would. Rather than studying natural anatomy, I'd suggest simply stretching a swatch of your blue and silver across different sections while comparing to your costume reference to see what's coming through! Again, you're off to a terrific start.

Thanks bro for the sculpting human body tips.... when i started on this sculpture , most of my reference was Henry Cavil body pics and also the Chrome Man of steel mannequin which they used to display the suit , thats also the life cast of Cavill and sculpted the muscle shape on .... but end up i studied more human muscle and natural anatomy . And i re do my sculpture cause im sculpting on a very slim body mannequin , so i added lots of clay and rough out the big shape of the body ... Cavill have strong and huge muscle while filming Man of steel . As u mentioned , they sculpted the beautiful shape of the muscle which will be seen through on the suit . I done that before as i used my glissnette material to wrap up the muscle area .... and the result really shows ....

I will finished the sculpture and will cast and paint it with Silver or Chrome , and that wont need undersuit , just the thin layer of printed chainmail suit on it .... hopefully to finished it as soon .

You have the right fade or shadowing effect on the belt straps Masked Rider. Hope that gets applied to the S symbol background as well
