Making a 1:1 scale Ewok FINISHED (also Wicket)

Re: Making a 1:1 scale ewok

This is one of those builds like Atlanthia's Stormtrooper helmet build, that just blows me away how well the final product came out despite it's humble beginnings ! Very well done !

Awesome! Love that gray! Nice work indeed Andrew!

I have created several over the years that my daughter has worn trooping with me when representing the 501st & Rebel Legion. She has just recently grown out of her Ewok suit. You have inspired me to incorporate a bunch of materials and mask I have stored into some stand-up furballs. Perhaps now we can use some of this stuff for displays at upcoming events. Well done!

Love the suit!! Gives me inspiration for future face molds! The netting idea was great too!
I actually started my first ewok as a display for our Rebel Legion booth! It's been a huge draw for us.

How very cool :) My wife makes bears, so I wonder if she could make one of these :confused

Great to hear Andrew. On the netting: We even add some fake rocks for the furball to hold in the netting. Just in case she stumble across some unsuspecting biker scouts. Just need some chicken wire to mold the structure of your rock. Wrap paper mache around it, add some sand to gray acrylic paint, and slap it on. Its a fun accessory and they weigh hardly anything.

One of the newest additions. I keep experimenting with different materials and ways to sculpt and pad underneath the fur.

I have never really been a big fan of Ewoks, but DANG! those are awesome!!

I never thought I'd say this but "dang I want me an ewok like yours!"

Great work thank you for posting!

Tom

My ewok got to be on display at Star Wars Celebration VII, Anaheim!
and while it was there, they asked me to bring it out for a televised, StarWars.com, interview with a group of the original Ewok actors!
it was the highlight of the weekend.
