Hey, just wanted to let you know that the magpouch used for the m9 mags look very similar to some older TAG brand pouches I had back in the day. Very form fitting with a rubberized inner liner that holds them quite snuggly. In fact Tactical Assault Gear may still make them. Check their website.

I just used one of These ...
the pattern is very similar, an the pouches are easy to relocate ... also it is quite cheap.
I took a black one and paintet the pockets Brown, will post a Picture of this later. I know "Jaro krieg" used a olive one and painted the straps and stuff black, wich is also an Option.

Is that a more available vest or a black version of the SADF M83? I'm not opposed to painting if it's something that I could buy locally.

this is the actual status of my vest ..
Very WIP, still missing the front pouches, the 40mm grenade, a lot other stuff an, of course the final weathering.
I Made the Knife out of foam, as a LARP-Wepon, and used cut-off pockets to make the knife pocket, wich i dont really like, maybe I redo it again.

I think he's referring to the 5.11 mag pouches. There's plenty of other brands that look similar but if you want complete accuracy you'll have to find what's left over of the 5.11 single pistol mag pouches. I see them pop up from time to time on ebay. A lot of what has already been IDed on here keeps being brought up and asked again, not sure why. The info is in here, fellas.

Thought Id drop in and say whats up been awhile since I posted in Rpf so...Im Back, got everything sorta on order for the Blood bag version of Max except boots....Here is a weathering pics of the shirt I am using
Shirt Before any weathering
Shirt Cut and frayed
Shirt Coffee poured on it, Black grease added
Coffee left on Armpits and front for 4-5 hours
Black wash with Acrylic paint with Airbrush
Lastly the Comparison from beginning to end

Anyone want to help me put together a list of what additional pouches and ammunition was purchased for the vest?
