Lycra And Perma-Wet Or Equivalent

So after seeing pictures in my suit the one thing I really want to do is see if I could get that glossy look to it, or something to at least let the color not look so dull. When I painted my hands and feet I added a gloss finish to them using a rattle can and it really brought the color out and made it look so much better, so I am wondering if I can do something similar with the lycra skin using either perma-wet or something like liquitex medium gloss to give it a deeper look to it any and all help would be grateful as I begin another year of upgrades.

There is a thread somewhere on here (search: “Lycra, permawet, suit”, and you should find it) that features a spandex suit to which permawet was applied. The suit builder noted that there was no significant difference in color after application; this could be because he used spandex and not lycra. Now, there is on the market a gloss coating made specifically for fabrics that may give you the results you are looking for. It’s made by createx.

Thank you Estelle I did find what you were talking about, I know Michael's carries that liquitex medium gloss it says that you can use it on fabrics so I am thinking I will buy a small bottle of it and give it a try if that does not work then onto the createx.
