Can I just say I love this thread!, I've been following since the thread started and love the mystery and investigation, I'm afraid I'm not well versed enough in Luke saber replicas to add anything properly but I just wanted to say

I think it's too recent also the tri ring is aligned with the control box and the static prop's tri ring is in a different position.

Just watched the Disney Gallery Mandalorian Season 2 Behind the Scenes special and they didn't have any new shots of Luke I'm afraid, they didn't talk about Luke at all which surprised me considering how important he is to the finale.

I'm guessing it has to do with the secrecy surrounding his appearance, sadly.

My buddy told me not to expect much about Luke in the Gallery, but I didn’t think not much meant ZERO! Was so disappointed watching through. Wish they spent more time on costumes and props as a whole.

I guess it’s fingers crossed for the Visual Dictionary.

Yeah, nothing. It was a really good watch though as long as you aren't expecting any Luke stuff.

Good to know. Sucks but I get why it happened. Editing teams (I think) for the episode reported having nothing but a black screen for the last 20 minutes which was done to keep Luke secret. I imagine they wanted to keep that hidden for as long as possible and having Luke stuff here would give it another opportunity to leak before airing.


Honestly, this just means we get the mystery and discussion for longer and I have been loving this thread so I can't complain really.

I have a feeling they will do a mini-episode or a youtube video on Luke eventually. It's probably just like how with Baby Yoda they had absolutely NO merchandise prepared prior to the episode airing that way they could keep the secret.

Watching it now. They got a shot of the Ahoska hilts opened up on what I believe the same table the darksaber was seen on.. hoping for more prop stuff only 20min in
