I don't think so, the necks on LS6's are usually a shiny-ish copper with a sorta spun/lathe texture. In that pic it looks more matte/painted look, almost like a coating.


Used an archive version to get pics of the LS6 I was talking about. No seam and uneven rings. Pretty sure the Mando Luke was even ringed. Also, the control box doesn't look quite right. Ok I just found that one dating back to 2019. I agree with you that the mando saber looks to have even rings

The tri ring is in the same location though..

Anyone look up KRs hero he did in the past?

See I’ve never been a hero guy so this saber I never gave any attention to, nor invested any time looking at any runs in the past

Looks kinda close, the control box face looks a bit wide and really close to the Mando Luke (looking at it with the card facing you) but I don't know if the screws are big enough to match, also the black buttons are too big.

So with all of this Rylo talk... where is the Elstree saber now? Would it have been possible for them to just borrow the real deal for the Mando production?

I guess the Elstree Props saber is in private hands (as was seen in Pawn Stars). The real prop is probably touring in SW Identities somewhere (Japan?). So it makes sense they used (or recreatdd) a replica.

Yeah, it definitely looked wider than the usual Hero box to me, it stuck out in particular to my eyes.

The silver rings look a tad thicker as well making me think Prodigal Son but their old control box is all wrong and their new version is all chromed out.

Now I’ve studied the prodigal son a lot during the creepy uncle hunt, and that pommel doesn’t match anything we see on mando

Yeah, the pommel is WAY off. Even for a general Hero, the bottom section is way too long.

Oh, I meant the control box screws below the arrows. They looked noticeably smaller than the belt hanger shots people got.

Got new shots of the pommel and this is the clearest one. Not sure if this would be the FX hilt or the hero/belt hanger, likely hero/belt hanger but I can't get a good shot of the pommel when he's using it in action, I was hoping for the effect-less shot in the hallway but they are all so far away and often shadowy.

Just an idea I’m throwing out there. Could the bladed stunt possibly be a first gen Romans Balance hilt? I remember that it had a flat emitter for changing it between a ROTJ and TLJ hilt, and I recall the arrows being sort of a flat colored red and green

Btw there are 2 versions of kr sabers hero. The original run had fatter rings where as the second had very thin rings and clear coat on the copper. But it had a hole in the pommel so i guess both are out
