They don't screw together they are held together with set screws, you will need a 5/8ths set screw sleeve for the rod. Here are the links for both the set screws sleeves and the mystery chunk in different steels. I recommend 18-8 stainless or plain steel for the mystery chunk. The place for this chunk is not pre drilled or tapped, you will have to do that yourself, I recommend buying a tap in the thread size of the mystery chunk.Newbie question -- what will i need to screw all the saber parts together? a piece of threaded rod? Will all the parts be pre-tapped? any advice welcome.

Unrelated but does anyone think it's weird how both Obi-wan and Luke hold the saber so low in the grip as opposed to the grip area?
