Its my last day in the USA so hopefully when I land in OZ there may be another update, Jim is doing some work this week in LA so work can resume at the weekend.

Guy, 'scuse the pun, but the Ion froze :lol Buddy i couldnt face it not being accurate, and wasting some expensive as hell hemi's.
Itll happen, only when any more ref is released...wishful thinking in this day and age, but i live in hope :lol
I know for sure id nail this given the ref, and to have that barrel akin to the prop, would be awesome...so its on the backburner pending pics buddy!
Its so odd, so many props were built for TESB, yet so little of them were documented...well at least for our consumption.

I cant believe what I saw today in the flesh, I went to the Star Wars exhibition at Darling harbour in Sydney. At last I've seen the Probe droid in the flesh & what a surprise when I saw this little beauty.....

I will be going back in the morning to take about 900 pics, Seeing the PD was the highlight as I now know how it should look to the eye, & I'm very happy.

It was great to see it in the Foam flesh, it does still look fantastic but I cant imagine how good it looked 30 years ago, hopefully I can help with that..... More pics to follow.

A few more shots. One is with my mate in for scale, so it gives you a good idea how small or big the model is.

All these shots where taken with the lens virtually touching the glass case with an ISO of between 800 - 1600, average 250 shutter speed & an F stop of around 14-18 with flash, it so hard to take good pics with flash that dont ruin a prop's look but I think they've come out ok?

Cant remember anything else, I didn't really pay too much attention to the costumes, as its not my bag but I think costume nuts would like it.

Its much better than CIV & about on parr with Paris. Well worth it for me just to have seen the PD & Taun. I tried to steel the 5 foot Falcon but couldn't get it out without it being obvious, I may go back with a JCB & helicopter :lol. I took around 400 pics mainly of the things that interest me but I will try & put them onto my Mac account when I get a chance so people can download em!
