I'm trying to do a bit more with the updates even if there's not much news, mostly because that was an irritant to a few peope on the last couple of project runs I did, and plus I have a bit more free time at the moment

Yea, I know I haven't taken any payments yet, so I can't take your money and go throw it on the bed and roll around in it going "OOOHHHH RPF'S MOOONEYYYY" or bogart it all and move to mexico and live the high life for a week or two, but at least I can keep you guys and gals up to date on what's going on and if it makes you a bit less nervous about grabbing a coin, awesome

I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that we are getting those little plastic holders like we did on the last coin run I had. Those were pretty cool. I can't really think of a suitable display for the coin, so having them just sort of prepack em that way helps.

Oh yea, final pricing on the coins coming in probably tomorrow, and there might, just might, be a "pre order" discount.

Alrighty. ORDERING TIME!

About to start juggling money to swing the mold fees, and I've worked out the coin costs and all that jazz. Right now we are at 25$ a pop based on the numbers we need, but if you prepay (i.e. help the project get started faster) I'll toss in a 5$ discount as a thanks. That means you only need to pay 20$ and you get a coin, shipping to be determined when they are in hand and ready to go.

Prototype (if I pay asap) will be done in about a week. Order turnaround is about 1-1/2 weeks after I ok the prototype.

Also, there is an option for antique gold for a finish. Yea, not screen accurate but still, a very cool color. Same price as the antique silver.

Paypal is rpfer@cox.net and you can send it as a regular payment, don't need it as a gift. INCLUDE YOUR RPF HANDLE AS WELL AS YOUR ADDRESS AND WHAT COLOR YOU WANT so I can work out the postage when they get here.

Some of you people didn't include your board handle in the notes, so I have no idea who you are. So, I'm refunding those payments in a bit, and you can just send em over but with the info in there. Not trying to be petty but it helps keep everything (and everyone) up to date on the order when I know who has paid what and lives where.

I'll update the list in a moment.

As far as color goes, i'll assume if you didn't put a color you just want the silver color. Cool?

Alright, 3 refunded (almost refunded ya JH, but I remembered your name :lol ), so just get the payments back to me with your rpf handle in the details. It helps me keep track of what order is doing what, and who is owed what and when.

Updates on the coin!
They will be made in the tin/lead allow since a: it's the closest density to silver they have, and b: brass sucks monkey balls for 3d detail like what's on the coin. (i.e. teeny tiny stuff)
Turnaround time for the prototypes will be about a week or so, and once the order is placed, it'll be about 2 weeks to have all the infernal monies made, plus about a week to ship to me. I'd overnight it but HAHHHAHAHAHA heavy, so no.
I asked for some WIP pics, and while they thought it was a bit weird, they said they'd try to do em once the mold is made, so we get some cool pics too.
We are probably getting the same plastic doohickey coin holders that I got with the tiamat coins, so that's good.

As soon as I know more info/get more payments i'll update the thread.

I've had that issue with some of my selling threads. Sometimes people don't put their RPF name, or send as "friends and family" which then doesn't have their address for me to send to.

Another member told me that as well. I have no idea what could be causing the issue. Maybe using the app vs using the website?

If I refunded a payment, it's because there was literally no information in the details whatsoever, just a "This person sent you money" followed by an address for shipping.

Maybe they changed up something in the international payments? No clue.

Either way, if you got a refund, it was because I didn't have any sort of info on who you are. I wasn't doing it just to be a dick

I seem to be having a weird issue with paypal, where it's international (or at least non US members) are not having their details saved when they fill them out.

So, if you are a non US member and haven't paid yet, please make sure to include the details in the notes section of the payment (plus send it as a regular payment so I get your address), but also PM me and let me know your name and email. That way I have both an email and a PM I can search in my mailbox with the name, which means there's less chance of me looking at a coin going "Who's this one go to again?".
