Alright! List has been updated.

These might... MIGHT come out cheaper than I thought! Between the interest on here and twitter/reddit it's looking like it'll be a pretty decent run for the factory, which means I won't get nailed for a minimum quantity pricing.

Still waiting on the final piece to be made by shapeways and sent my way though :(

Yea this isn't going to be a big money making project. Never really put much thought into it, more along the lines of "DAMN I WANT ONE" and not wanting to spend 400$ getting literally one made.

I'm really thinking about an antique finish gold, like my tiamat coins I did. Seems to be a popular option. We have a bit before I have to make decisions though. I still need to get the last print in from Shapeways and mail it to the factory, and find out if they can make the weathered version or not. If they can, wheeee! If they can't, wheeee! It'll be smoother instead!

Either way it's a win/win :)

Well, poop. Good news/bad news time.

Bad news is apparently the High Def Black Acrylate (the print I was waiting on) has a wait time of 3-4 WEEKS additional due to crazy amounts of orders of it. That sucks.

Good news, I'm just gonna mail them the coin pictured in the first post. Also sorta good news, this speeds up the order process a little bit since I was expecting to mail the black one off probably next weekend. Now I'm sending this one probably tomorrow.

So, we should have some good (or gooder) news in a week or so. Again, the model is complete, the ai files have been drawn, all I am sending them the coin for is to let them have a physical piece to see if they can edit/alter the ai file to give that textured/wrinkly effect. If they can, awesome and we get a cool coin. If they can't, awesome and we get a cool coin that's not as wrinkly.

Once they get it in hand, they'll let me know, and I'll get the totals worked up.

So, if you are on the fence about wanting one, you have probably 2 weeks? or so left to wonder about it before I have the official price in hand and I start taking pre orders to get the orders moving. Unlike my crystal orders, once it's placed I cannot edit it, which means I can't add more to it. I can always order more since they keep the dies, but I can't get em done on this run, so keep that in mind please.

I've been talking to the factory, and it's looking more like we are going with a smooth finish over the weathered/crinkly version. There are 2 reasons for this.
1: They aren't entirely positive they can get the wrinkled look correct.
2: I'd have to pay for the mold regardless, and at 225$ that's not something I can do on a "eh, maybe?"

So, we are probably looking at a smoother version.

I'm waiting to find out a list of color options, and pricing so I can get the final bits worked up, but fingers crossed, I can start taking payments probably later in the week!

Alright, ok'd the final artwork for the coin, and getting invoiced for the mold fee soon. Should have prototype pics in a few days :)
