Now that the series is over... The point of this thread is to simply to post all the questions that were never answered in the show. All seasons, all episodes are fair game. Ready? Go!!

I'll start:

#1) - if MiB and his non-Mom's skeletons were the ones found in the jungle cave by the Oceanic 815ers, whose skeletons were in the "Light" cave when Desmond and Jack went down there?

I don't understand the question.
MiB and non-Mom were in there since like 50AD and were always there. No one ever moved them that I recall.

I'm wondering why MIB was considered evil? Ok, so he decided his "mother" was full of crap and decided to live with the others, But did he just go around doing evil things? No, he just wanted to leave the island.

Now, after a few thousand years of being there, YEAH he killed a bunch of people in cold blodd, but who could blame him.

still like to know why the Darhma initiative was dropping stuff on the island.

Im also curious about the other bodies in the cork room.

the Others and all the egyptian stuff Im curious about, and the statue, who put it there?

Why did the statue have four toes?
Why did the smoke monster sound familiar to Rose?
Why did the donkey wheel always teleport you to tunisia?
Why didn't the jughead bomb kill everyone? What happened to the fallout from it exploding?
Who released smokey from his cabin prision?
When did the cabin become a prision?

Those are the questions I can think of right now off the top of my head.

The statue might have just had 4 toes because art wasn't at the level it's at today. The Egyptians couldn't grasp the concept of depth in their art, could be a similar situation.

The Dharma initiative was there to study the scientific phenomena of the island. After they left, they knew the Swan station would need to stay supplied, so they might have set up some kind of nifty catapult to launch food drops from another station across the island. We never saw the whole island, so it's possible.

Everything else........... 42.

I had read that the reason you wound up in tunisia when you turn the wheel was you wound up at the exact point oposite of where you were. like a strait line through the Earth from where the island was.

Oo oo0! Just remembered one!

When did Clancy Browns' character wind up working for the Dharma initiative after the first gulf war? I mean, I got the impression he replaced radzinki(SP). So Radzinski was there from the Incident in 77 till what, 1991-92? So the Dharma people had to have been there in the early 90's. Or was he suckered Like Juliet?

Why did the statue have four toes?
Same reason it has a dog head... it's an ancient god that wasn't human in form.

Why did the smoke monster sound familiar to Rose?
No idea. When did this happen?

Why did the donkey wheel always teleport you to tunisia?
I wondered if it sent you to Egypt or wherever the people who built the statue and cork room were from. Maybe...?

Why didn't the jughead bomb kill everyone? Hmmm... because it was down in the earth? I don't know enough about H bombs.

What happened to the fallout from it exploding? Underground again? Need an H bomb expert to anwser. :)

When did the cabin become a prision?
Not sure that it was a prision. Did he say he was trapped there? I've seen people ask this before but I don't think he was trapped there. I know there was an ash line around the cabin but ash can wash away or blow away very easily. I don't think it would have been a good strategy for long-term imprisonment.

Who released smokey from his cabin prision?
If it was, it could have easily been Claire.

What does this matter?

Someone had to be there for Desmond to replace.

Do you want to know about the guy that Clancy Brown's character replaced next?

Why didn't the jughead bomb kill everyone? Hmmm... because it was down in the earth? I don't know enough about H bombs.

Wasn't it just the core of the weapon, not the full explosive potential of the Jughead? Why would it kill everyone if it wasn't the full weapon?

I think Radzinsky was probably down there by himself for a looooooooooooooong time. I think by the time Kelvin got there he was about ready to kill himself, which he ultimately did. He paid the price for the error of digging into the island, however he too became something of a protector since he worked the "digital cork" as it was.

I have this theory that he wasn't evil too. Bad maybe, but not the devil. We know he was just a man that was given powers by the "light". Jacob knew that in order for him to leave, the light would have to go out. Jacob couldn't allow that.

They had to keep the swan station supplied so the button pushers could keep entering the numbers every 108 minutes.

Im also curious about the other bodies in the cork room.
I agree with the above, they were just other ancient people who tried to go down there. Maybe they were the builders...?

Me too. ;)

If it was, it could have easily been Claire.

In the first episode Rose said that the monster sounded familiar to her. Was never explained.

Yeah I thought the same thing as you as a possibility for the statue. But Sayid made a deal to point it out as if it would have more significance. Aliens or something perhaps.

The problem with the tunisia theory is that we do know that MIB designed the mechanism and he wasn't from tunisia. Which raises another question; if he died who ended up building the donkey wheel mechanism and why did MIB think moving the island would allow him to leave?

The H-bomb exploding would have killed everyone on the island and radiated it easily. The bomb wasn't far enough underground to save the people on the surface. My guess is the magnatism, Jacob or magic saved them:rolleyes

The cabin (at least appeared) to be a prison for MIB. It was surrounded with ashes trapping him inside. Later a small portion of the ash ring was found to be broken when Illyana went there.
Possible that Claire released him but it's somthing that wasn't shown.

Also, if everything that happened on the island happened while the survivors where still alive. How did Jacks dead father appear to him off-island? When (according to the rules of the show) dead people can only appear on-island, MIB can't leave and Jacob didn't change his form.

With that in mind; if the island was this mystical place that nobody could find even when you knew where to look and crashed aircraft that got close (the helicopter that carried Daniel and Lapidus and the drug plane).

How can a plane achieve a complicated air drop of food perfectly on the island and stay far enough away that it doesn't crash?
Not to mention the drop and plane needed to stay on the 315 heading perfectly or it just traveled through time and missed the island completely.

As I said, not a plane, launched from somewhere else on the island that was staffed by someone else.
