Thanks so much for your feed back, I apoligize that theres not more progress pictures of my build, like I stated before, for some odd reason I'm limited to how many pictures I'm able to post...

If you go to my Artist page on Facebook, http://www.facebook.com/matrixspoon it has the entire build from begining to end, including detail things of issues that I encountered. If you would like the files please send me a PM, I do not charge for the files, due to the fact that I am not the one that created them, I did edit the sizing and I rearanged everything to make it easier for making, certain parts, that took time for me to do, but I'm not going to charge for that, all I ask is that you give me credit for giving you the files and send people to my fb page and like my artist page. Simple and painless...Thanks again for the feedback...

Very nice! Is that the Ultra Sabers Raven you're using? That's what my son has for his costume. It's pretty nice, but I'm thinking about getting a Makoto Lord Starkiller for an upgrade, as his blades are CRAZY BRIGHT! Also, what did you make the chest belt from? Is that eva foam? Does it come apart in the front or the back? Do you have any better pics of this part? Sorry for all of the questions. It's just that I want to remake some of the parts on my son's costume to make them more accurate, & I've been considering using 1/4" eva foam in between 2 layers of black vinyl, to give it some stiffness, but still maintain the leather look. Right now, his chest belt is made from 2 layers of black vinyl, but I think it needs a bit more stiffness to create the proper look. It's hard to tell from your pics just what you used, but it looks pretty good. Here's a recent pic of my son in his costume.

Overall I'm pleased with it, but the chest belt & a few other pieces I feel need to be upgraded. I've got new gloves on order from CustomProps, as I'm not entirely happy with the ones I made from a set of leather ANH Vader gloves I had on hand. I'm also in the process of coming up with new boots, as I haven't been happy with what he's been wearing. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, & having studied this costume in detail for approx. 4 years, I want everything to be as close as I can get to the in-game reference, which I have A LOT of. My son turned 18 this past year, & we really want to get his costume 501st approved. Once we get these upgrades done, we're going to submit pics to our local 501 GML for approval. Fingers crossed! Thanks again for showing us your build thread, as it's always nice to see how other people approach a build. It often gives me ideas for my own builds!:cool

I just found this thread and you did a great job. Would it be possible to get the files you used. Ive been searching for armor and helmet files and I cant seem to find any.

Figured I would post some of my new pictures

If you would like to see the entire build from the beginning to the end you can go to my artist page and click on photos then albums and find the Star Wars Dark Sith Lord Starkiller album, also don't forget to like and share my page, thanks....

Just stumbled upon your thread. Excellent job sir! Looks absolutely gorgeous! Thanks so much for sharing! I also took the liberty and shot you a PM over at FB :)

Thank you...will message you back shortly...

Looking forward to it, thanks! :)

I have to add another question regarding your cooling-solution with the fans. They seem to be right over your ears. By using the gap as an entryway for cool air, this seems to be a good spot but how loud do the fans get? Are you still able to hear everything around you properly?

They are small fans but yes they are right by your ears, very loud and blowing and such....But I'm still able to hear for the most part.though I take off the helmet if I really want to engage in conversation with someone about the build or anything else. If someone asks a question I can hear them, honestly the fans are loud yes. I can hear, more so is can they hear me? That would be a big no, hahaha...
