Not sure what this would be called, but I'm looking for a program or a method (preferably a simple one) that can allow me to take a large digital image and divide it down into standard letter size (8½" x 11") so that I can print the pages out and put them all together, like a puzzle of sorts, to make the full-size image. I'm not talking about rastoring the image, I don't want it all in dots.
I used to have a program called LivePix that did that sort of thing, automatically printing a huge picture into individual letter-size sheets...it would even ask what number of sheets I wanted the width to be. But I can't seem to find anything else that might do something like that.
Besides, I don't neccessarily want it to PRINT the image into sheets....just divide it into them, so that I can work on the image on the computer one image at a time and THEN print them out afterwards.
So, does such a program exist? Or is it just wishful thinking on my part? :wacko
