Text and Image Content of Tobin's Spirit Guide Replica

Hoi all,

I just watched Adam Savage's episode on Tobin Spirit Guide replica. It looks really good! I'm curious to know where the text is coming from. I think I know some of the image sources but 500 pages of text is a lot to write If it was made up, was another source used? Is there official canon?

It is all legitimate content, written by many members of the RPF as a joint effort, and then carefully curated and proofread by Magnoli Props and Indy Magnoli! It is crazy, amazing, seriously good stuff!

I should add, for your question about sources, there is no copy-pasting from real materials that I am aware of, so no copyright issues. It is all written from scratch, using the Ghostbusters movies, games, cartoons, etc. as resources.

Much of the art was created by members of the RPF as well!

Additionally, the content references urban legends, historical references, spiritual phenomena from OTHER MOVIES AND MEDIA, and many kinds of Easter eggs. (See the Disney Haunted Mansion reference in the above screenshot.)

BUT, all content was curated so as to have been theoretically available to Horace Tobin in 1929. So nothing made up from the present day! Beetlejuice is in there, but Samara Morgan from The Ring is not.

There is no repeated content. It is a massive tome to read.
