looking for info about a seller of Vader Reveal..........

A few years ago i came close to purchasing a Darth Vader Reveal "special edition" helmet from a seller but it never went through. I was wondering if anyone has ever dealt with or heard of a man who lives in Florida named Shaun who claims to make these helmets? They are very nice, though contrary to the claim there are an inaccuracy or two, but i am wondering if he is the origional maker or someone who purchased one from that person. Any info is appreciated.

The only reveals I recall being made on a regular basis was the Portumac helmets. Could it be one of those?

I'm familiar with him; I was the one who sold Shaun an original set of Glenross expansion screws with which he made replicas for his helmets and he got one of the inside camera shutters with my help also. I've not had one of his replicas but from what I saw of them on ebay they were very good, though not necessarily exact to the original. But in his defense, I've never seen one from anybody that is... :unsure He went by mad27 on ebay.

appreciate the input guys. I am familiar with Portumac and know it's not him. The main reason I ask is that we were in the midst of a transaction on a couple occasions but none were ever concluded.

I've seen them too and really like them. I actually had a Portumac and while it was very nice, the attatchment mechanism for the dome to the top of the mask was awkward and not easy to use....three screw/bolts to line up to the metal drain type disk on the top.......it actually annoyed me to bad I barely took it apart. It was a cool piece though. I've often contemplated to Mad27 helmet though. They seem to have gone up in price quite a bit lately. I think they used to go on ebay for $1200.

Heres some pics of my Portumac that I sold about a year and a half ago.

Wasnt a bad piece, with all the detail and all, but space was the issue and I had to decide on my Vader ANH vs this one and the portumac lost out.

I remember that portumac had a website but cant find it any more. Am i correct in assuming that its nolonger around other than occassional items on ebay.

I personally would wait for Mark's "sskunky" reveal. It is a long time coming but it will be well worth it and he is an awesome guy.
