Logan's Run Deep Sleep Blaster

Lots of sanding... ...now just waiting for a glo-plug to be delivered... Then need to make a decision about paint and whether it should be pristine or somewhat weathered... oh and some sort of display solution!

Something I made in 3D a few years back as an alternate stand for the gun and follower.

When you add each image to the post it shows a tiny version of your picture with two click boxes underneath, THUMBNAIL and FULL IMAGE. Click on FULL IMAGE to get the picture to show up full size in your post.

So, what is your ultimate goal for this DS Blaster?
Will you be using LEDs as the firing effect and if so how will they be mounted?

No, the plan if just for a fairly screen accurate static display piece... With, hopefully, a sympathetic way of displaying it...
Although it has crossed my mind to include a pulsing red Life Clock with it....

A bit more progress... first priming after sanding... now it shows just how much more sanding I need to do!!
Anyone got any ideas about weathering?

Just do it matt and gloss black,i've done a few of these(from Thingiverse files),after seeing this build i've downloaded the files and will print them when i get the time.I also have a metal one (Rylo...i think)that i have to build up

Ace hardware semi-gloss black Is the closest I've found to the original paint that was discontinued
