To be able to disassemble and service the hilt. Those are the only visible screws. Don't need to be phillips, i just added those in that location because is faces inward to the wielder. Normally covered by the hand.

G; Thanks for sharing the updates even though for a commission. Is there a possibility that you can update the files you made available to the community with your client changes and the new reference that's becoming available (above, etc.) if you were to receive a commission from the group? Don't want to put you in a bad spot or speak on behalf of anyone here that has shown interest, just asking if it's a possibility. Thanks.

Not sure if this counts as a spoiler? But spoiler warning if so!

There’s a great segment in the latest episode of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian - The Making Of Season 2 featuring the Dark Saber prop, both practical versions and static “hero” props, as well as some interesting information about its creation for live action, but I’ll let you guys enjoy that and we can discuss when more have seen it.

Also if anyone has any hacks on how to take screen grabs of Disney+ without using my phone to take a picture please let me know

This is looking great! I loved the last file you had and am excited to buy this new one if/when made available.

As a heads up, the one I made and posted photos of in the other thread cracked in shipping across the grip/barrel where the thinner walls are. I even printed the handle with the angled guard side flat on the print bed so the layer lines would not be parallel to the grip indents. Do you think there is enough room to fit the electronics and have a slightly thicker inner wall?
