List your most satisfying 'smacks' or 'shots' in movies.

In Saving Private Ryan the sniper who took Vin Diesel out of the movie (thank you by the way), got scoped.

Inglorious Basterds (QT style) Hitler's final scene.

William Munny shooting the unarmed bartender in Unforgiven, then stating he should have armed himself.

In The Untouchables: in a standoff with a hostage taking gangster who says they have until "three" before he kills the hostage and begins counting "One!" George Stone saying "Yeah I got him" (in his ironsights), then shooting the gangster through his open mouth as the gangster is about to say "two". Then George says "two".

Kirk doing the double-cross on Khan and opening fire on the Reliant (does this count? I must have seen it a thousand times and it still gives me goosebumps when Kirk gives the order to fire).

Kevin

When Steve Martin gets punched in the face and then grabbed in the crotch in "Planes, Trains and Automobiles"

And when Mr. Rooney gets kicked in the face by Jeanie in Ferris Bueller..

Indy slugging Mac in KOTCS, when he breaks his nose.
Would have been more satisfying if it was a gun shot, but I guess Indy was getting soft ;)

Neo getting Smith in the throat during their subway fight.

Land mine in Tropic Thunder. Totally scared me. and then I lost it laughing.

The terror dog shooting out of Tully's door, then promptly smacking snout first into the door across the hall in Ghostbusters. Scarey and hilarious all at the same time.

Not quite in the category, but when Marty tries to outwit Griff and Griff catches his fist. Made me go "uh-oh."

Da two yoots? YOOTS? Yeah YOOTS!!! -from My Cousin Vinnie

When Captain Jack is "female dog" slapped by the women in the movie. Ted and Terry wrote that based upon past, present, and future tense used by Jimmy Buffet's in Margarittaville......

There's a lot of violence out there, much of it is just expected and ho hum. But every once in a while a character takes a hit who REALLY had it coming or got it right when you weren't expecting it but were glad to see it.

Examples:

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom: After a long battle, Indy is threatened by a fancy knife wielder, pulls out a gun and just shoots him.

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King: Denethor, steward of Gondor - when Gondor is being attacked, in despair tells everyone to leave their posts and run for them lives - Gondor smacks him up side the head with his staff. (My niece and I just watched this tonight and I was so ready for that loon to be taken out. haha! That's what inspired this thread)

Got more?
Guri, it is Monday...your post has confusled me. I thought it was Gandalf that smacked Denethor on the noggin. I'm going back to bed. LOL

Theres wayyyy too many on my list but a few highlights:

Godzilla utterly owing GINO *err not our GINO* in a minute during Godzilla: Final Wars, I actually went back 4 or 5 times to re-watch that scene its just so great.

Punisher Warzone: the urban free flow gangs ending.

Pulp Fiction: the samurai sword and then Zed's little Zed meeting Mr. 12 gauge.

I'll 2nd Hitler in Inglorious, and add the officer Donny batted.

The Russian enforcer in the original Boondock Saints that took a toliet to the cranium.

I'll have to add this from Aliens, when the big door opens revealing Ripley in the powerloader, she comes walking out, delivers her "b***h" line and starts smacking the queen around like a chew toy.

Sooooo gratifying!

Oh, and pretty much every scene with Denzel Washington in "Man on Fire".

Maybe not the most satisfying, but definatly one of the funniest...

Ed Norton clocking Brad Pitt in the ear in Fight Club, beautiful.

when jeff speakman finally opens up on asian guy number 1 in the gym fight scene , that scene alone got me into the martials arts
