Link's Deku Shield

Finally finished my wood sculpt of Link's Deku shield from OoT, started it about 2 years ago and never finished it. I made it from three 2 x 6's glued together, routed out the emblem area and carved the the rest of the details with a chisel mostly. I plan to take a silicone mold of it and make a fiberglass copy..that's if the mold doesn't get locked in or damaged by all the tree bark details.

Agh! Beautiful shield!

I guess casting it in fiberglass would solve the fire temple issues huh.... ;D

But seriously, excellent sculpt and I can't wait to see how it turns out once molded
