Well, yeah, I only forgot to mention that if I hosted it, it would be a $ store contest, with a max of probably $20. And I would try to cover the paypal fees myself, so that the winners don's loose out. I would fare rather have prizes like the days of old, but things are tight for a lot of people right now, and I really don't know what kind of prizes we will be able to get for the contest, so asking $1. per entree sound reasonable to me, so that we can have something to offer the winner if we can't get a prop prize. Also, I don't think there soul be a limit on the number of entrees per person. I think if you have 10 great ideas, and you can get them all done in the time allotted then you soul be able to enter them all.
I mean, imagine, you do have 10 ideas, and you get them all done in time, but your are only allowed to enter one of them, you pick one, and loose, you would always wonder if you would have won, if you had been able to enter one of the others. plus, those entering more then one, and paying for each of them will just help the pot, for the prize money grow.
But again, I would rather props be offered too. I just can't see anyone offering up a $300. helmet, or a full set of trooper armor like in the past. Not that I would n't love to see that kind of generosity again.
I myself, have had a very ruff year, and have had to sell off just about everything extra (prop wise) I had. I'm down to pretty much my most beloved pieces. (there are plenty of them, but they are all my most beloved.) I would have loved to been able to offer something cool from my own collection, but as I just said, I don't have anything left I'm willing to part with, and even if I did, I could use the money it would bring at sale.
But, hey, like I said, if you, or anyone wants to take this over, more power to you. I just want to see these kinds of contest come back again. I'm willing to host if need be, but I would be more then happy if someone else did it.
