Wow turned out amazing, congrats!! If you have the chance, could you maybe snap a couple pics in a different pose? Maybe like the scene when they first open the doors?

I'll be posing it differently when I set it up on display at BayCon this weekend. I'll be sure to photograph the heck out of it.

This turned out so good! I've been making sure to like and comment on all the Make stuff. As excited I am to see it done, I'm kinda sad that this build done. Your almost daily updates were a highlight of my day! Keep up the awesome work!!

Outstanding build! Loved watching this progress. Was also not expecting it to have any movement. Now we need a Robocop photoshoot with this beast. It's almost sad seeing the prototypes just laying there...

Any more plans on improving the motion?

Plans, yes. One of the guys has been tinkering with a controller that will allow us to drive the whole thing remotely as well as actually taking advantage of all of the actuators built into the waist, pelvis, arms, and gun pods. Hopefully it'll be done by the time the second robot comes out of the molds. Then they can talk to each other.

But seriously, you and your crew have done a tremendous job in building Ed. The fact that it looks so spot on, is a testament to your detail skills. Very cool.

I hope we get to see a video and/or photo's of the final build. Went from a parts molding lesson to a completed robot.

Was hoping there was more in between those last two videos.

Impressive Is an understatement. that thing Is Beautiful. and the weathering on such a large scale Is mind blowing to me....

words can not describe how awesome it is... your efforts have produced an amazing replica worthy of the masters of the builders of the film industry... perhaps even grater... Bravo!
