life size whale sculpt

Wouldn't it of been easier to just go out and catch an actual whale? :lol
 
I recently visited the Europapark. I was able to take some pictures of my whale in the attraction. They gave him the name "Tilu"
 
Superb job! Would love to see more of this around here! I love theming and visitor attraction art (any forums just for that?).

How much did it weigh in at?

Wow, amazing! I love it. I was in Mexico once, visiting the scientific museum over on Contoy Island (near Isla Mujeres), and I saw a full-size Manta ray being worked on. Ever since that, I've always wanted a full size marine life replica. This is very inspiring! :)

Where did you get that much styrofoam from?! Seriously, I want to know! My best stryo haul was from a build site. Guys were installing insulation and had huge circles of styrofoam trash. I asked if I could have them & they said yes.

But for a life-sized whale...who supplied you? Amazing, amazing, amazing work.

We got the styrofoam from a company called "we-go"
I had a team of 3 - me incueded, who worked on the project. One of us work was to take away all that styrofoam from the ground, to put it into the trash, so that we wouln´t start to dive into styro :)
