Hi,
I like to share my latest sculpt with you.
It is a 10,54 meter humpback whale for the Europapark, I had to finish togehter with a 1:10 Model of it, inbetween 5 weeks.

Although this is a prop, but not a movie prop, I put it in here.
I hope you like it

oh it's totally a Star Trek IV prop. That is amazing. Do you have any in build pictures?

Re: My newest Sculpt: life size whale

Thank you guys.

Got Maul: Together with one assistant, I carved the sculpt in styrofoam, made details in plaster and coated it with dark resin that was sprayed on. Later I coloured him and added more details.

Re: My newest Sculpt: life size whale

That's incredible! The next time someone says "Yeah, I worked for several weeks to clean up and modify this Vader mask. I worked hard on it.", you can smile and say "Really? Well, I made a whale in 5 weeks."

Re: My newest Sculpt: life size whale

I can't begin to imagine all the amount of clay you must have used to sculpt this. :thumbsup

Re: My newest Sculpt: life size whale

Holy cow, err, whale! That is an amazing amount of work. Nicely done!

Re: My newest Sculpt: life size whale

I can't believe nobody has said you did a "whale" of a job on it. Very impressive.
