Good afternoon, I am publishing with the intention that I do not miss the processes and just in case someone wants a prop and does not know how to do it... this will give you an idea... enjoy it.
It took me more or less 2 hours while the paint dried...1 - First of all, you have to make the face of the meter, as I get used to making them and not printing them, since it gives it a more artisanal detail... I do it by hand...
2 - Then just use a little paint to give it the appearance of dirt... the measuring needle, a plastic cutout... the idea is to finish the face of the meter in a very rustic way
3 - The box where the face of the meter is, is made with a plastic soda lid, the top is cut with a diameter smaller than the thread, thus leaving a kind of frame, in my case I painted it metallic and gave it some remains of black to make the Prop very abandoned and old.
And this would be the result
Regarding the body of the stimpack, I wanted to simulate it as if it were one of the first models... so I used a clear air conditioning type hose. I just put a tube inside and covered the ends while I added a few measures of grenadine water for its color... just cover and paint...
To join the sti,pak meter with its body I had to model a marker adding pieces of plastic to give it the similar appearance... after that a thick layer of paint. simulating accumulated corrosion....
Ahhh!!!, I forgot the fins where the terminals go, I made them with an old telephone card, you can use any type of plastic sheet, in fact it will help you to mold it with heat...
AND.....Voila!!!!!... finished the stimpack rust mod, which I needed for my NCR Veteran Ranger cosplay....
Thank you very much for watching my post, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did when making this mod prop.
greetings
