Well i just ordered mine. I was gonna wait until people had one, so i could see whether the shrouds are removable.

Then i panicked when i saw the post about them being nearly sold out!

Thats more money.

My original thought was that I'd wait for people to receive theirs and then know if it was absoutly worth the money. "Final Product May Vary" ya know.

They way I figure it is that the price is worth it for the metal shrouds alone. And if it was put together, it can always be taken apart. Heck, I managed to debraze an entire Sterling in an afternoon. A glorified toy shouldn't be any more difficult.

I let my Pre- Order go for the limited edition because I got a beautiful one from a member here a true here with matsuo shrouds. Could not justify another 900 just for those.

Left me with a bunch of parts if someone wants to upgrade theirs. I have the metal spas cage! $400 and a few other knock knacks if someone is interested.

first pmt was on 5-14 , i just made my 5th as well , when i started i recall them saying that they would take the monthly payment up until the last , then they would take the last at time of shipment , hope its this year

Uh, question.

I have a bunch of tins of BB, but I HATE Humbrol paint. It doesn't airbrush easily or "handle" well when dry. It was obviously designed for shelf-models, not props to be "fondled" a lot.

I also have a bunch of cans of OD green lacquer. I LOVE that stuff. Dries quick, very hard, durable surface.

Do you think that this type of paint method will apply to the two different color versions of the Hollywood Collectibles Pulse Rifle, or will the paints that they'll be using be different?

Probably they used the Brown Bess for color matching only.

I was this close. THIS CLOSE to getting the OD version, but I kept reminding myself that if James Cameron somehow saw my collection, he would shake his head in disappointment that I was delusional in thinking one of his props was a different color.

I hope nobody ridicules me for having a brown M41A Pulse Rifle.

Why would they? The brown looks better and just looks right.:love Many real world military forces use flat dark earth (similar to brown bess) on their firearms. James Cameron was visionary. :thumbsup
