I know I'm late to the discussion but how is it that no one mentioned Chappie? Chappie is real! Chappie is the greatest robot ever. Also, is a great film. Doesn't get the shine it deserves imho.

Robot Jox was trying very hard to be Battletech. I would love a Battletech movie, but it would cost a small fortune to do properly!
