Hello Everyone,
I am kinda of a newbie around here. I am looking for information on building some of the swords from The Legend of Zelda series. Mainly is there anyone out there who has done the magic sword that is on the cover of the second game in the series? I am also interested in the Master sword from A Link to the Past. If anyone would like to share info on creating these or sword making in general I am all ears.

Yes, I have researched many of the builds on this forum. I am just putting feelers out to see if anyone else has any thoughts or information they would be willing to share.

I started an OOT mastersword...though maybe its a Twilight Princess sword...but I don't think there is a difference. I've only got the guard done so far, those wings were not fun. As with most video game weapons, its important to remember that things are made to look extravigant, so don't get frustraited if you can't figure something out right away.

I would eventually like to the SS swords. Right now I am just gathering as much information as I can, before I jump into things.

There's definitely a difference between the OoT, TP and SS swords. The first is the OoT design, the second TP, and third is SS

what moo moo said. the twilight sword is much more ornate than the oot sword.

Yea, i think its TP, i just haven't taken the time to double check which one.

I personally prefer the mastersword from A Link to the Past. Has anyone ever shaped blades from aluminum or stainless steel?
