Leather wrapping blade handle

Please share pics of your leather wrapped blade handles.. I'm trying to do my machete right now but I need some inspiration. also where to get the stuff online would be nice too!

Do you plan to use any wood slabs on the grip before using leather? I've handled a few blades wrapped with cord and they don't feel right because they're not ergonomic. Slabs would help make it feel more right in the hand but may also change your wrapping style.
