Larbel vs MR Vader ANH saber

Which of these sabers are more accurate? I recently purchased a MR ANH Vader (hasnt arrived yet) and then just today bought (pending payment) a Larbel. Anyone ever had a chance to compare them?
Since I dont have any ESB vaders yet, would it be a crime to convert one of them (probably the Larbel) into the ESB version? Im assuming its like a Parks so a conversion would just be swaping out grips and a couple other details.

The MR only has 6 grips, so it's not accurate for ANH. You could trade the shorter ANH grips for the correct 6-ESB grip version, and swap the clamps out putting the ANH MR on the Larbel and add 7 grips to the Larbel.

I wonder how MR ever let that mistake go by unnoticed. I guess its ok since I had never noticed it either untill you pointed it out hehe. Thanks!

We made the discovery here on the RPF after MR had the ANH Vader in production.

The MR has holes drilled in the tube under the grips to attach them, so you can't make it a 7 grip saber without seeing holes.

Also, originally the Vader ANH didn't sell very well and they were going to $50-$100 less then original price- people were buying them and parting them out for double the purchase price. MR changed the glue they were using mid-run and it's just about impossible to take the clamp or shroud off one without destroying it.

You could also cut the MR tube in half, toss the bottom half and replace it with another legth of tube. The clamp should hide the cut. I have an extra ANH MR without the grips I was thinking of doing this to.

Thanks guys for the ideas. Once they both arrive Ill try these things. If I see it wont work I guess Ill just sell the MR and buy an ESB.
