Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

hey laamberry, how soon til we see soon update pics, yours is one of the threads I am following and I hope to catch up to close to where you are near the finish and would really like to see how far you plan to take the project. CAre to share in the details how far ou are looking to take the armor. Any mods to enhance the standard so to say?

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

A heartbreaker for sure, this one. :)

Seriously, though, it actually is a nice concept for Captain America and a very well made costume. Can't wait to see the completed Iron Man armor.

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

I like Izabel's Capt. Am costume more. Do they give out swag at dragon con? or is it just a show off convention?

I think they're both great - to like one over the other to me seems more of a preference for a contemporary look, or the WWII style.

I respect Izabel's work because you can totally tell she did it her self and she put a lot of time and effort in to it.

Yes, and Laamberry certainly didn't. :rolleyes

Why don't you go **** up someone else's thread for a change? You haven't made a single worthwhile post in this one. Not one. It's time to give up and move on. Maybe you can go find someone else you have a disagreement with and report them to the studios too!

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

Paul, you're starting to cross that line I told you about, you sound like you're calming Lamm didn't put any effort into hers.

I also agree, you're comments in the thread have all been negative, it wont help your case to keep posting here.

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

Impressive work, I am amazed at the type of work everyone on here is able to do. Wish I could. Keep up the good work!

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

Oh and another thing Lamm, love your shield, if you get a chance can you get a picture of the back, I'd like to see how you did your straps, I started one of my own yesterday.

All of the other bull**** aside;

are you serious? Look bud, I've put up with you up until now but how did I NOT put effort into my Cap outfit? I made the shield, sewed all the soft bits (the patterns I drafted by hand btw), hand sewed and dyed the gloves from SCRATCH, collected the pieces for the helmet and then painted it, and gathered up all the other things. It took HOURS of work and planning. I'm talking dozens.

Come back when you grow and ounce of talent-- last I checked you bought your Iron Man helmet.

Mate you need really need to start thinking before posting. Add some constructive criticism or make a point even vaguely related to the OP's thread! Otherwise start your own in off topic where you can pound your fists and stamp your feet.

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

Well, I think I have someone to finally add to my block list.

As someone who spoke with Laam during her Cap' build, and saw a lot of in progress pictures, I can say that she put in A LOT of work...the fact that it looks so simple and so nice is a testament to all of her hard work, not a sign of its absence.

I honestly at a loss for words, Paul...I just can't understand how someone can post something like that without a second thought. It's just ridiculous!

/\ I agree with Neo PAUL. Count yourself lucky if you don't get an infraction for that. It was totally unjustified

Anyway, back on topic people, ignore the troll, it's the best thing that can be done.

Ah, now where is that block button?
