Great Captain America costume! could we see more pics of the shield?

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

I personally think you did an outstanding job on your costumes .

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

May be a stupid question, but is the Captain America costume your own take on it, or is there actually a female Captain America type character? Not trying to insult the Americans at all. I have just never seen any other CA apart from the Marvel character in the full length blue outfit

Even in death he derails this thread.

Good job on your costume Laamberry. If it wasn't in a comic, certainly looks like it could have been.

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

Some posts have been removed and some edited. It's time to get this thread back on track, please refrain from unnecessary OT commentary. Thank you.

I made the shield, sewed all the soft bits (the patterns I drafted by hand btw), hand sewed and dyed the gloves from SCRATCH, collected the pieces for the helmet and then painted it, and gathered up all the other things. It took HOURS of work and planning. I'm talking dozens.

you dont have to justify anything to anyone, this thread says alot.

swoon

im totally digging the shield, and the armor build, which is braggable, because i am definitely not a fan of marvel, but i am of a girl thats into making her own props, and replicas and costumes. you've got some incredible talent.

Laam your take on Cap is great!

I'm curious about the star as well, I can never do straight lines well so how did you do it?

After seeing the CA costume in person at Dcon, I have no doubt about the amount of work put into it. Great Job Laam!
