Kylo Ren Saber hollow hilt for electronics

At Star Wars Launch Bay in Orlando as I type this.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but the wire on the Launch Bay Kylo saber is transparent red.

You can see the silver wire inside the transparent red 'casing'.

I'd like to share my version of print from guabe's files. I'm not really happy with side emitters but it just needs repaint.

The blades are not only for decoration.

Main blade only

And side emitters with power drop on main blade

There is no sound, only manual two step ignition.

Once again, thank you guabe for extremely good replica.

I'm going to try again, since these are now publicly released to the Facebook group...can anyone PM me a copy / non-facebook link of the V5 files? I don't have a Facebook account, but am desperate to get these files...

The cable I used (pictures above) is 17AWG, or 1 sq. mm cross-section if you live outside US, standard electrical wire, only in red.

"True 14" is 14AWG, the diameter of the cable. I think that will be too thick. The 17AWG on elgringdado's looks pretty close in size.

I ordered the 16AWG speaker cable from Amazon - I'm hoping it's more transparent than it's photo shows and about the right size. If it works out I can send a short length to Russia.

elgringdado - Yes, the heroV(?) saber at the Launch Bay has a wire with translucent insulation. I believe the Celebration prop was a plain red wire though.
