This part can be removable, like in earlier version.

I think will be better to add some pulsing effect to the LED. How can I do that?

ABS has heat resistance 103°C. LED (luxeon rebel or Cree xp-e2) has Max.Junction Temp 150°C.
Is it possible to use 5W LED with ABS and not to destroy it by high temperature?

I just discovered this thread and want to add to the chorus of praises to guabe. I've been holding off on obsessing over TFA props until I'd seen the movie and was sure I liked it.

Needless to say, I need a Kylo Ren saber now I'm anxiously awaiting the new hero version.

Can anyone send me the links to the current design?

you'll need to contact guabe for the links, he doesn't make them publicly available just now. I'm assuming he will once it's a final design, but while it's in development he's keeping them private.

as for the v5, he posted some pictures of it to the Knights of Ren facebook group a couple of weeks ago. If you're a member of that you can go have a look, I won't post them here in case he doesn't want them here yet, but I will say this...it looks fantastic and I can't wait to get my hands on it.
