Kylo Ren Saber hollow hilt for electronics

As I said, it's pretty close in paint to hasbro one (but of course much better :D )

Gustavo, can you make this parts for wire too?

One interesting bit I get from that new front view photo is this. I had thought that maybe that pommel hexagon was the exact same inner detailing that we see in the open section on the top, like a core running through it. It wasnt completely apparent on the bad stunt casting at Celebration. But this confirms that the details visible on the top are much wider and not the same dimensions as the pommel core.

Lukyanov, I'm working on the newer details. ;)

Thanks for the pics.

Thank you so much for all the hard work you've done on this. I can't wait to have a static version of this with all the hero details incorporated.
You've done an amazing job so far.

ok so I have revamped the V5 and I am turning it to the Hero version... lots of changes so I had to redo most of the details... still working on the cutout... I also changed the design so its easier for CNC? maybe... but should be a lot easier to add electronics now.

Thanks.

Would this still be printed at Shapeways or machined in metal? Also, where could we get the files for the V5 when you're finished it them?

Printed at home or shapeways is the main objective. but this one should be friendlier and possibly CNC ready.

new version looks great. will the details inside the cutout be a separate piece now?

and how long do you think it'll be before the hero version is available?

Looks great gustavo!! These can be used as a static with or without electronics? Also when will this be available to print or cnc?

First thing I'd like to say - awesome job (I've already said that via Shapeways, but hell, I'll do it again and again and again...)

guabe, question to you. In V5 (pics in #292) the middle part, the one with thread, it slides into main blade emitter and then it's screwed or it has threads on both sides? And another thing, how can one get his hands on those designs (purchase)? I'd like to give them a go on my friends CNC and my 3d printer as well.

Guabe, I see you already know about the pics from the Wired article, and Lukyanov posted one of the images already, but I'm going to post both of the original pictures here for posterity.
