Hi Guys,

Just saw this The Kurtz Joiner Archive: Preserving Film History looks like they will be putting pics up soon some nice ones already. They are also of facebook and have posted a pic of the C3PO clay head sculpt.

This might be old news but hopefully Mr Kurtz will post up some of his production photographs - fingers crossed for pics of the ANH Vader sculpt

Someone must have dropped it then

I want to see his ANH / ESB trooper armour if it is still with them.

The pics of ANH pre-production are great the C3PO one so far and obviously the stormtrooper helmet sculpt we saw when the SDS trial was on. The site seems to have a shop - well coming soon anyway - I would love to buy prints of Kurtz's original photos.

Just hoping that pics of our favourite bad guy sculpt still exist - I personally think there must be some considering the C3PO and trooper ones are still kicking about.

Agreed 100%.

Kurtz Joiner archive have had these pics for years and have never shown them publicly so I presume they are very protective of them.

On facebook 'star wars rare vintage photos' somebody posted the stormtrooper helmet sculpt picture and here is a quote from Jason V Joiner showing how protective they are of their property -

"i would like to know how you go a hold of this image ? i released this to LFL only 12 months back and i do not know why or how this is released ?
if you can help me on this image please , as it was released under the condition it was not let out to the public , and an agreement was struck with LFL and a signed agreement is in place
if some one could get back to me on this please as this belongs to us the Kurtz/Joiner Archive yours jason joiner 14 June 2009 at 20:10"

Nice to have at least some access to this archive. The watermarks don't bother me as much as the fact that the pictures are so small but it's better than not having them.
