Kurtyboy Archives, 6 Aug: help with rotj vader MOM saber

Re: Unpacking The Kurtyboy Archives. Update 1 Oct: Indiana Jones

Haha! Yet more Indy stuff. First I found my own home made Spalko file (really need to update it with the new recently available reference provided by Sarednab)...

And then I also remembered I had the golden guy. Not very neat but the only way I could fit all the Indy IV stuff on one shelf:

Awesome collection.

I missed out on the Azuma Stones in that horiffic real time sale by three minutes due to a technical glitch. Still mad about that.

Looking great.

Give us some good shots of the new house as well.

Can't wait to see the rest.

:thumbsup :thumbsup (y)love :love:love:love :love :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

Re: Unpacking The Kurtyboy Archives. Update 1 Oct: Indiana Jones

BTW where is all the Firefly/Serenity stuff?

Re: Unpacking The Kurtyboy Archives. Update 1 Oct: Indiana Jones

Outstanding collection Marcus! It's really nice to get to see all of your Indy props together like that. (I've always been a fan of your Pulp Fiction props as well.) Thanks for sharing man. :thumbsup

Re: Unpacking The Kurtyboy Archives. Update 1 Oct: Indiana Jones

Re: Unpacking The Kurtyboy Archives. Update 1 Oct: Indiana Jones

Love the Archives Kurt.. Definitely a heap of pieces I'll get my hands onto one day, including the Mangalore Rifle..

Re: Unpacking The Kurtyboy Archives. Update 1 Oct: Indiana Jones

Well, while raising money for this house I tried selling the Mangalore rifle. Nobody was interested in the slightest and in the end I had lowered the price by so much that I thought screw that, I'm keeping it! Glad I did LOL!

Re: Unpacking The Kurtyboy Archives. Update 1 Oct: Indiana Jones

" Activating Evolution ". Damn it. Brings so much memories... Heroes... what a waste, really make wanna cry when I saw what this series had become. T_T

Anyway, impressive collection you got here. Must have cost you an arm and an eye...

Re: Unpacking The Kurtyboy Archives. Update 3 Oct: "Kurtyboy Loves the Tarantino"

Cool stuff! I love the Indy props!

I could never get into IB. I'm really into WW2 history, but for some reason that movie bugged me. I guess because it wasn't a true story. I don't know.

No word of a lie I heard some kid saying "I didn't know that's how Hitler died" and I almost lost it. I enjoyed the movie for the performances but as a history nut I wanted to punch someone in the face. :lol

I love my WWII history as well, can't get enough of it... but I can't say I even thought about any historical differences while watching the movie! :popcorn

Anyway... what Tarantino collection would be complete without an ass-watch and kangaroo? I gold plated this Lancet. Took me about six years to find one I was finally happy with. It still runs.

Re: Unpacking The Kurtyboy Archives. Update 1 Oct: Indiana Jones

A preview of my Firefly/Serenity stuff...

firefly.jpg

But I do want to show this which I'm finally finishing up. Got it as a kit from Pennausamike almost a year ago and put it into storage. It's a fully 'working' MGC Enfield No.2 Mk1 with added parts machined by Mike and the grip was salvaged from one of those awful ebay pieces of crap! Mike was incredibly helpful with me putting this together as it was, in his own words, "a real basketcase!"

Note the upper receiver side greeblies. They are the correct found part: 1/4" audio jack plugs. Big thanks to Zombie Killer for spotting them. :thumbsup

Re: My prop collection: The Kurtyboy Archives. 2nd update 3 Oct: Firefly/Serenity pre

Awesome stuff, Marcus! Y'know I've seen Jackie Brown 3 or 4 times and I never realized Sam J uses a Toronto Raptors bag!
