Great post, it's fantastic to see such an epic sword being replicated so well. Any more news on the finished sword
 
This is moving forward nicely .. I have a fellow board member collaborating on the blades now.. I'll be casting the guard soon and I think we will have a prototype this spring

this is one of my favorite swords. and a must have in my collection when im able to start it again. ah priorities lol. fantastic work dude kudos to you and the guys your working with

Sorry I'm so late to the party. Holy shnikees this has been an amazing build! Can't wait to see how it ends. I hope there can be more than one :$
 
Here's a fast update on the suitcase blade.. Being done by RPF member David blue, all by hand. We decided to change the blade mounting method to use 2 steel guide rods and rare earth magnets, it will add much more stability and make it safer. We will be working on full fitting soon, I am casting the guard, handle and pommel and will be working in the spikes also
