Finished this today. Was a paper weight for the longest time. I lost interest after getting two of the licensed versions.

In retrospect, I think I unwittingly bought this as a re-cast of Judge Dredd's kit (my retroactive apologies). I do not recall if the seller (another RPFer whom I've now forgotten) mentioned the source or not. At any rate, the cast was an absolute dog, and the clean up required was horribly extensive.

I sort of rushed it to completion since I'd lost interest, but now finished, I sort of like it better than the licensed versions. The kit came with aluminum discs and other metal parts. I think I'll repaint the bad licensed version and add the metal parts to it; maybe fix the lights while I'm in there.

This kit was hollow for use with lights, but I gave that up. The 999 is just a photo print behind clear plastic.

I saw this thing laying on your bench in one of the pix you posted in your Deathstar thread. I was gonna ask you what you were planning on doing with it. :)

All I can say is: Super GREEN!

Best unlicensed build-up I've seen.

Now send it to me. :lol

Looks great. You must have spent a lot of time getting it ready for paint if it was a dog, you would never know.
