Klingon Disruptor from Diamond Select Toys in 2011

So wait, you can't rapidly fire? As in every time you press the trigger, it starts the sound over again?

How close in size and overall dimensions is the Beaknose compared to an actual prop?
 
Has anyone received their ST6/TNG/DS9 version yet? I ordered the ST3/TNG two pack on AFX and have yet to see a shipping notice... Did they just get their ST3 version much earlier than the standard?
 
I got my Kruge disruptor today. It was pretty much what I expected it to be. I think, looks wise, its pretty well done. It feels a little light, but I bet the actual prop was the same way. The lights and sounds are a little underwhelming, but could be worse. I'm still on the fence as to whether it was worth the $60 plus dollars or not. But its nice to have a Klingon weapon to go with my federation items.

I should be getting my beak nosed one from New Force sometime this week and will post some photos. It looks pretty nice in the photos, but I wanna see how it "feels" ;)
 
I just got mine and it looks SUPER intimidating on the shelf.

Once it's in your hand tho- it becomes less impressive. My nose doesn't droop like unitPD says, but mine is a Left-Leaner. And the light weight of the gun is kind of shocking.

But I'm not complaining, when I'm ready to mod this, the nose rods and the weight would be my top fixes anyways. All in all, I'm a happy customer.
 
OK after much shipping delays etc, I finally got my Klingon Disruptor. First off, yes it is very light considering the size, but it looks awesome straight out of the box. For modification purposes, I wish DST had not glued in the screw hole plugs, but that is no matter. It seems larger than the disruptors I have had (including Coyle's), but looking at the pics in the earlier posts, it is the same size as the props. It is also super clean. I am having trouble with my phot albums at the moment, pics are coming :)
 
OK could not get the RPF photo system to work, so I switched to the bucket:wacko. Here are the shots:

I've been waiting for these mythical items from DS for way too long and almost missed them. Pure luck had me return here after a long absence just to see what's become of the place and here I find what I had given up on. I've ordered the Beak nose and soon will order the Kruge. I understand they're toys, but for the price they look well worth it. Display ready until upgrading time.

The one thing I'm noticing in the pics and it'll bug the crap out of me until I fix it is the three rods and nozzle seem to all twist to the left a little bit. Anyone tried the old hairdryer heat trick to straighten them out yet?
