King Kong (1933) props? Gas Grenade or anything else?

I've been trying to find anyone making replica Gas Grenades from King Kong (or ANY props, castings, etc, from Kong). I see an old thread here that references someone who made a Gas Grenades and a seller on eBay was selling Gas Grenades, but that was years ago. Anyone currently offer any Kong props?

Several years ago, a nice version of the map was offered here.

I, too, would like to pick up a gas bomb.

I have a gas bomb cast from one if the originals.
As a matter of fact, in the King Kong remake Peter Jackson used the original bombs for a quick detail shot, and i saw the bomb from which mine was cast.

I'll see if i can find the guy who sold it to me. I should still have his email address.

DS, isn't that your map I'm talking about? :lol

My dad's a big Kong fan; I traced by hand a replica of the map for him. I'd love to get him a gas bomb for Fathers' Day.

Any luck finding the address? Thanks!

They had one of these, maybe an original in "Up the Academy", in Ron Leibman's quarters. But FOR GOD'S SAKE, DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE JUST TO SEE THE PROP. I warn you, please do not subject yourself to this torture.

I'll be offering a few cast straight off an original (obtained from F. Ackerman) later this year. I want to be careful not to turn this into a 'for sale' thread. Just a heads up, they're comin'

Please resist the urge to PM me about them, now. I'll keep note of whomever I see in this thread who may be interested.

Up the Academy was awesome! Soundtrack by CheapTrick & The Babies. Excellent cult flick.

I have been searching for a gas bomb forever also.
I would like to make one of the natives shields if I ever get the time.

I would love to have gas bomb replica…..please point me in the direction of any that are available.

That casting off Ackermans original sure got around!!!! Have one myself and I can confirm it IS off the original. I photographed the real one when FJA had it on display in D.C.
The casting I have matches all the nicks and wood pattern exactly. I got mine from D.Stines.
