It is a 0,6 mm wire. This is between 22 (0,51 mm) and 24 ga (0,64 mm).

Just added some 24 ga wire to mine and dry brushed a bit of black to dull it down. Turned out pretty decent.

Hey Soulinertia, I received my necklace (Thanks! It looks awesome!) but it's not lighting up.... I'm assuming the batteries are fried, but I wanted to double check to see if there isn't some trick I'm missing to turning it on before I run out to buy new batteries....

Yep... batteries were dead; we're all good

As a suggestion, maybe keep the battery compartment off the necklace for shipping? It doesn't take much to jostle and have the compartment slide down the stem to make it light up during transport. But awesome piece regardless! Thanks again for offering these!!
