Been a lurker here for a long time and now have something useful to contribute... Lol

Was able to tract down the EXACT belt from the film. Belt is made by Orvis as others have discovered but the belt used in the film IS NOT one that's available online from the Orvis website. It's exclusive to their retail stores. Thanks to the help of a local store manager who was also a fan of the film I have the item sku... It's 2C7C02xx where xx is your belt size. You can call in and order it but you need to have the in-store sku.

I've also discovered an almost exact copy of the J Brand 'industrial' jeans that's more justifiable in price.... ($70 vs $176) Daniel Cremieux Brooklyn Stretch Jeans in Grey (in the U.S. they're exclusive to Dillard's and were just released a few weeks ago). When held side-by-side to a pair of the J Brand they are exactly the same color and fabric type and do the same brown/grey color shifting that's been reported. They also fit identical. Only difference is they do not have the slight overextended stitching on the rear pockets, beyond that they're identical.

Hey tyler have you looked through all the pages in this thread? Some have bought replicas and we know who made the actual vest he wore in the film and the guy is making them for purchase if you've got the money lol. Although some very talented people are looking at making a run of these so I'd hold fire for now

Just make a call in to the customer service number on their website. Give them the sku for your size. Or call the nearest store in their locator.

Hint.... If you call a store they will ship free or if they don't have it they will have it shipped free. If you call in to customer service you'll have to pay shipping

Here's something interesting - I just got in the J Brand Kane in the color "Leather" and they look strikingly similar to the ones seen on screen. They even look grey/charcoal in different lighting. And they also have that sort of plum hue like his do. I'm quite confident that the "Industrial" jeans were worn in the film, but I'm wondering if these were, as well. It's so hard to be sure. Thoughts? (And please ignore the shirt - it's just a stand-in)

Has anyone come across similar knife sheaths to the screen one? I can't order the dragon works as they don't take international orders. Also the one they have posted isn't either of the screen used ones as the blade is longer in the screen ones, I'm assuming the pic they posted was just of a generic one.

They custom make the sheath to the knife. The one they have in their example just fits the knife they have there.

Here's something I noticed about the costume on display - the elastic on the boots is the same color/darkness as the pants themselves. So I took a comparison photo of my two pairs of J Brands. The "Leather" color is the darker of the two. What do you guys think? Did he wear different washes throughout the film, was it exclusively the "Industrials", exclusively the "Leathers" or a different pair all together?





EDIT:I also don't want to exclude the possibility that the costume on display is not the costume seen throughout the entire film (as evidenced by the boots soles), but perhaps the different components were seen at points in the film.

I asked my girlfriend what she thought about me getting the belt, and she said "is there a question in this or what you big baby?", so I assume that means I can get it. LOL.

Also, my sister sent me the rest of the pictures she took. The one I was looking forward to the most didn't turn out, so we might redo that one at some point in time.

Been lurkin since the beginning of the thread. Only bought the vest and shirt so far. I'd say Orvis fishing shirts fit larger for mobility, so I'd size down. I ordered large online and exchanged for medium in store. Watch next, then modifying nerf gun for fun and adding plush Blue thing or Indominus.

Thanks! I just went to the Orvis store near me. They had about 10 belts. I just picked one up along with a grey shirt since I previously ordered a blue shirt. I had no clue there was a store just 20 minutes from me. Woot woot!
