What ever happened to the T-Rex and the Velociraptors who stowed away on the ships in JPII?

Man, I was so looking forward to seeing Dinosaurs stomping through the streets in JPIII, but they ended up back on the island...:angry

Is this storyline covered in any of the books?

No. The first film followed roughly the first half of the book. The second film did pretty much the same thing, then split of completely from the book, from what I can remember. The third movie was an original story that had elements of the first book (mainly the pterodactyls in the big cage). So - no answers in the books, the movies did their own thing after a while.

The Velociraptors in JPI were in the book only and were killed in the epilogue.

The T-Rex was returned to Isla Sorna in the end of JPII the movie.

The Lost World book had no dinosaurs leaving the island except for a few corpses washing up on the mainland.

Also there was a migration in the original book of a flock of Compy's down the coast and into the jungles but thats about it for actual escapees.

There was a short run comic from Topps about a guy that captured 3 raptors and was going to use them to take over a country, it showed Muldoon still being alive and a few other weird twists...
