Jupiter 2 in 1/72

And no, I'm not going to post that build...who would want to see that or give a crap:lol::lol::lol:

My suggestion for the old AMT kits is to not build them as the Enterprise (in any accurate way -- it's a fool's errand to try, IMHO) but to use them as kitbashes for any of the fleet variants from the old Starfleet Technical Manual (the Tug, the Scout, or the Dreadnought). Those designs are all fairly ridiculous (where is the engine room???) but the saucer proportions and angles are based more on the AMT kit than the studio model. You don't have to be strict about accuracy and it allows some room for creative freedom to add details that could have been there if the designs had ever been realized on the screen. Regardless, yeah, I'd totally want to see your build-up!

What a great build and documentation. I like the covering of the innards. Is there anyway you could add some details fitting the era and set? Like the various goofy things on the walls of the original Enterprise? Either way I love the build!

Those scratched seats look brilliant , and Han & Chewie poking around - they were there for quality control !..., as far as posting the AMT Enterprise build ? - that’s totally up to you mate , but by misquoting a popular line from a favourite film “ if you build it , they will come “ .... I offer my thought & support for it !;)
Thanks brother! I'm pretty pleased with the seats, glad I did them because what was in there was disgusting. Well ok then, I've got plenty of time on my hands so I may as well post that build, why not. (y) Not sure what to title it as though...AMT NCC-1701 TOS POS maybe

Many thanks dude! Gedmac says to post it as well, so I guess I will. The decal sheet is toast so it'll have to be a variation anyway. I've always liked Lexington and Yorktown...if I can get the decals to slide in one piece. I have some dry transfer lettering but it's all white, I thought I had some black but I either lost them or tossed them out at some point. I can airbrush the stripping though. We'll see how it shakes out. this is just a filler build until I decide what meaningful build to do next.

Thank Fett, It turned out pretty good considering. I did plant some 1/72 MF ramp strut pieces to one wall, and some greeblie do-dad I found in one of the greeblie trays. The 1701 is all in fun anyway, a filler build. I'm seriously thinking of getting a 1/350 1701 TOS as well. it looks like there are plenty of upgrade items to be had for it.

I’m sorry, I meant on your roof under the removable panel. Your build is perfect and needs nothing else I could recommend. I did enjoy the MF ramp detai!
