Jungle Predator (Predator 1)

DIZZYARSE

This was one of my first 1/6 scale customs and bulit from the Hot Toys Chopper predator figure, some of McFarlanes armour and a few bits I made and cast myself. the paint on the armour was five differring layers of metallic enamel, then buffed between layers. Great fun, but I will be coming back to it at a later date to paint the figure himself so he is in the proper colours. I will also re-do the bio mask as the nose is too wide. That was by an e-Bayer called "nosferautoys" who also does various skulls.

Awesome to have another toy collector/customizer in the Lair.

Nice work on that armour, Ebay seller Nosferatoys has sure helped lots of predator fans with his accessories.

the only thing i dont like are those AVP dreads on him

but i totally understand why there like that

so it still looks bad ass to me

Just had to delete some of the attachments due to running out of space.

Just finished re-doing the Predator 1 figure.... and yes I have used the Chopper pred head despite the AVP dreads, but the face is as close as I can get to the original. Tried casting and painting my own but wasnt happy with the results so I went back to old faithful.

NEW

I did a re-paint on a Predator 2 Elder body (thanks to Elder fab for the body),made a new bio, attached hoses (thanks Tnaig001) and had just finished casting a set of armour when Spinsky sold a set of Elder Pred2 armour on e-Bay. Well, I needed a set of wrist armour and claws as the ones I made didnt look right so I bought Spinsky's and re-painted it and weathered copying reference pics supplied on here.
So, thanks to all for your assistance in building this custom.
