The story was terrible this time. The elder and high table is going after wick for killing a member. Yet, they didn’t give two ***** when he killed Gianna D’Antonio...a new high table member. Wick did the killing or was going to brfore she committed suicide. He was under a blood oath to her brother. Yet I guess it’s cool for family members to kill their own high table family members?? No one ever told the high table or the adjudicator that wick was sworn to the killing by santino. So killing Santino as a high table member should be void. Apple to Apple. But killing him on hotel grounds is a no no which is fine to go after him for.
They punished everyone who helped or aided him in one way or another. So..I guess the high table went out and killed. Italian hotel members, the tailor, map & key guy, the Jews who held his war chest. They all helped him kill Gianna. Ok ok that is a push but maybe they did lol
The elder was just not right. I’m not buying some random guy chilling in the desert is the grand master of all the mafia’s / assaisins in the world. What is this Assasasins Creed style? Anyway, John to give up his wedding ring and finger for his life just didn’t sit well. He started all this crap over her. Yet, he is going to give it up to save his life. Nope don’t buy that either. John should of killed him too. But I guess that’s where the 4th movie will end.
Ok Zero and his gang were cool. He was a funny guy and kinda likable in his own way. Didn’t care how he let all his men fight John in the end before he would fight him.
The fights were great. Loved the dogs and that whole event. Well she will be on the run next since she attacked and basically almost killed the highest ranking high table member under the elder. She killed his sex life thats for damn sure..haha
The nod to all the old movies was a nice touch. From Highlander, kill bill, the good, the bad and the ugly.
It’s a straight up shoot them up movie. Wanted a better story, yet can’t get too mad. Just clean it up for the 4th or it’s goes like how die hard killed itself.
So next movie I take it we will get a John wick super team. Fishburne, berry, common . They will battle the high table since they are all on the tables hit list. Ok common isn’t but he still owes John. Oh Ruby could show up too if she didn’t kick the bucket.
